The U.S. Center for SafeSport ruled professional rider and trainer Jeff Campf permanently ineligible to compete on March 1. The reason for the sanction, which is subject to appeal, was sexual misconduct and physical misconduct, and he also has a no-contact directive.
Campf, Canby, Oregon, ran Oz Inc. with his wife Shelley Campf until he was temporarily suspended by the Center for SafeSport on Oct. 4, 2021. He is also a former member of various U.S. Hunter Jumper Association committees and task forces, as well as the U.S. Equestrian Federation national jumper committee. In 2014 he won a USHJA President’s Distinguished Service award.

A spokesman for the U.S. Center for SafeSport declined to comment on the ruling, saying, “The center does not comment on matters to protect the integrity of its investigative process.”
