With our new site, the log-in process for users and subscribers registered on www.coth.com has changed a bit.

Q: I’m a user already registered on www.coth.com. How do I log in?

A: You used to use your username and password to log in to coth.com—now you’ll use your email instead of your username. Your password remains the same!

Q: I’m a subscriber to the magazine. How do I access the archives of magazine issues?

A: If you’re a subscriber to the Chronicle and you’ve been able to read magazine issues on coth.com in the past, your account will still grant access to the current issue and issue archives.

Q: I’m not a subscriber—do I need to log in?

A: Right now, the only area of coth.com that’s available only for signed-in users is the Chronicle digital issue archives, which are available to subscribers to the magazine. In the future, there will be more options for premium content for registered users who aren’t subscribers.

Q: How do I subscribe to the Chronicle?

A: You can sign up for a print + digital subscription or a digital-only subscription (no print issues mailed).

Q: Why is there a box for my Chronicle forums screen name in the Register process?

A: We’ve moved to a universal log-in for both the coth.com and forums sites, so if you connect your forums username with your coth.com account, you’ll be able to move seamlessly between sites. NOTE: Your Chronicle forums screen name remains anonymous.

Q: I’m a user at the Chronicle discussion forums. How do I log in?

Now your forums username and password will work on www.coth.com.

Q: I have a log-in for the ShowGrounds Live show sites. Does that work on coth.com now too?

A: Yes, coth.com now accepts ShowGrounds Live accounts to log in. Just use your email and password from your SGL account.

Q: I’m a new user registering for the site. What’s the “Chronicle of the Horse Forum Info” and “Alias/Screen Name” box for?

In addition to all the great content on coth.com, the Chronicle hosts discussion forms at www.chronicleforums.com. Creating an account on coth.com also creates an account on the forums; if you wish to post under a screen name, you’ll enter it here to enable that screen name when posting on the forums.
