What You Need To Know: 2024 National Horse Show

The 141st National Horse Show starts today, beginning a week and a half of competition at the Kentucky Horse Park’s Alltech Arena. The event begins with five days of equitation, including the THIS NHS Adult Medal Finals on Thursday Oct. 24 and the Hamel Foundation NHS 3’3″ Championship on Sunday Oct. 27. Open and amateur-owner hunter divisions start Tuesday and jumper classes begin Oct. 31.

Favorite events include the $75,000 National Horse Show Hunter Classic on Oct. 30 and the biggest jumper class, the $125,000 National Horse Show Grand Prix, on Nov. 2. The show wraps up Nov. 3 with the marquee ASPCA Maclay Championship.
