Who’s Hot To Win?: For the Chronicle’s Olympic Preview Issue, we asked some top experts to tell us—and readers—who they thought might be standing with medals on their necks at the end of the day. Cian O’Connor handicapped the field for show jumping for us, Carl Hester wrote about who are the ones to beat in dressage and Buck Davidson shared his thoughts on how the eventing competiton might go. They picked the team favorites and 10 riders they think are in the hunt for individual medals. See what else is in the issue in the Table Of Contents.

What Are The Olympic Horses Like Back At The Barn?: Get to know nine of the U.S. Olympic horses much better with the Chronicle’s in-depth and behind-the-scenes series Behind The Stall Door. You can find all the Olympic horses’ articles—HH Azur, Blackfoot Mystery, Verdades, Barron, Cortes ‘C’, Veronica, Loughan Glen, Legolas 92 and Voyeur—here.

What’s The Road To The Olympic Games Like?: We followed six Olympic hopefuls from April until just before the Games to see how they prepared (whether they made the team or not), what went into getting their horses at their best, and how they handled their mental game as they sought to be named to their respective teams. Read them all!
