USEF Announces Teams For Aachen And Rotterdam CDIOs

The U.S. Equestrian Federation has announced the athlete-and-horse combinations that will represent The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team at the FEI Dressage Nations Cup Netherlands CDIO4* at the CHIO Rotterdam and the FEI Dressage Nations Cup Germany CDIO5* at the CHIO Aachen World Equestrian Festival. 

The CHIO Rotterdam will take place June 21-25, and CHIO Aachen will run June 23-July 2.

The following combinations have been selected for Rotterdam and will be led by Chef d’Equipe George Williams. They are listed in alphabetical order:

Ben Ebeling (Wellington, Florida) and Indeed, a 15-year-old Danish Warmblood mare owned by Vantage Equestrian Group II LLC

Kerrigan Gluch (Ocala, Florida) and Mejorano HGF, a 12-year-old Andalusian gelding owned by Hampton Green Farm

Kevin Kohmann (Wellington, Florida) and Duenensee, a 14-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Diamante Farms

Lina Uzunhasan (Sint-Oedenrode, Netherlands) and Furst Fabelhaft UZN, a 9-year-old Rhineland gelding owned by UZN Holding 

For the CHIO Rotterdam, the CDIO4* Grand Prix will take place Thursday, June 22, while the Grand Prix Special and freestyle will take place Saturday, June 24.

The following combinations have been selected for Aachen and will be led by Chef d’Equipe Debbie McDonald. They are listed in alphabetical order:

Anna Buffini (San Diego) and FRH Davinia La Douce, her 16-year-old Hanoverian mare

Susie Dutta (Wellington, Florida) and Don Design DC, a 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Susie and Tim Dutta

Alice Tarjan (Oldwick, New Jersey) and Serenade MF, her 10-year-old Hanoverian mare

Sarah Tubman (Wellington, Florida) and First Apple, a 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Summit Farm

For the CHIO Aachen, the team results will be decided by the CDIO5* Grand Prix on Thursday, June 29, and the CDIO5* Grand Prix Special on Saturday, July 1. The CDIO5* freestyle will take place Sunday, July 2.

In addition, two athlete-and-horse combinations will represent the U.S. in CDIY competition at CHIO Aachen World Equestrian Festival.

Erin Nichols (Yorba Linda, California) and Handsome Rob AR, an 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Diane Nichols

Christian Simonson (Ventura, California) and Son Of A Lady, a 12-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding owned by Christina Morgan and Clifton Simonson

For CDIY competition, the FEI Young Rider Individual test will take place Friday, June 30, while the FEI Young Rider freestyle will take place Saturday, July 1.

Simonson will also compete in the CDI1* with Zeaball Diawind, an 11-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding owned by Christina Morgan.
