“Rotterdam used a new CDIO format this week which utilized all three Grand Prix tests,” said Chef d’Equipe Christine Traurig. “The format made the competition very exciting and tense until the end as we were very close with Belgium all week. I could not be more pleased with everyone’s performances; they all rode amazingly and produced a fabulous result.”

Sweden’s Patrik Kittel won the second phase of the competition with Watermill Scandic after a Depeche Mode-themed freestyle (81.87%), and Dutch rider Hans Peter Minderhoud rode a personal best of 81.05 percent on Glock’s Johnson TN, beating out teammate Eduard Gal and Glock’s Undercover (77.90) in the freestyle.
