After breaking his stifle in 2004, it looked like Upstage, a four-star event horse ridden by Karen O’Connor, might never make it back to the competitive level.  

Then  a serious colic attack further jeopardized his recovery, but the gallant little horse never gave up and is now back in top form and better than ever.

Karen was gracious enough to let us come and interview her about her relationship with this special horse.
