Aurora, Ontario:  SSG Gloves is expanding its popular “Go Low For The Dough” Contingency Bonus Award promotion by crossing the pond for the first time debuting in Great Britain at the prestigious Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials September 4-7, 2014.

The SSG “Go Low For The Dough” promotion will also return to the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event for the second straight year April 24-27. SSG Gloves will have $25,000 in contingency bonus prize awards available for competitors at both Kentucky and The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials who meet the bonus award criteria. Competitors must wear SSG ‘Digital’ riding gloves during each phase of the competition in order to be eligible.  A $5,000 contingency bonus prize award is offered for each phase of the competition with the following additional criteria: the leader after the completion of dressage, the competitor who has a clear cross country round closest to optimum time after the completion of cross country, and the competitor who adds no jump or time penalties and is closest to the time allowed in the show jumping phase. Ties are broken according to FEI rules. In addition, a $10,000 bonus prize award will be on offer if the overall winner of the event is wearing SSG ‘Digital’ gloves in all three phases.

“We are very pleased that SSG Gloves is returning as a sponsor for the 2014 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event and thrilled for the “Go Low For The Dough” program to continue for its second year,” said Darren Ripley, President of Equestrian Events Inc. “SSG Gloves’ support of Rolex Kentucky and their “Go Low For The Dough” program has been a wonderful addition to the event and we look forward to continuing our partnership with SSG Gloves.”
