A group of U.S. riders contested Grand Prix tests at the CDI Achleiten in Austria today, with Steffen Peters topping the four-star Grand Prix for the freestyle aboard his young star Rosamunde with a 74.56 percent. Fellow U.S. rider Kasey Perry was fourth aboard Trøstruplund’s Scarlet (70.80%), and Kathleen Raine and Breanna were fifth (68.88%) in the same class.
In the Grand Prix for the Special, another U.S. pair—Allison Brock on Rosevelt—finished second behind Austria’s Victoria Max-Theurer.
Photographer Shannon Brinkman was on hand documenting the competition. Check out scenes from the stunning Achleiten show grounds.
