Due to the tremendous support from international equestrians, sponsors and the local community, this event has more than doubled in size within the past several years and has attracted some of the best riders in the sport of eventing. Among past winners are two-time Olympic Gold medalist Phillip Dutton, Winner of the Adelaide CCI4* (AUS) Boyd Martin and winner of the 2010 Bromont CCI3* (CAN) Will Coleman.  The event show cases CIC*, CIC** and CIC*** levels, and is one of the elite competitions featured on the PRO Tour Event Series, with prize money provided by the Professional Riders Organization.

Eventing, one of the three equestrian disciplines represented at the Olympic Games, is considered the ultimate test of horse and rider. A triathlon that requires jumping, galloping and precision movements in three phases: dressage on Friday, cross-country on Saturday and show jumping on Sunday.

Plantation Field, located along Route 82 in Unionville, PA, is adjacent to the famous kennels that house Mr. Stewart’s Cheshire Foxhounds. This site offers a premiere venue with some of the best viewing of cross-country competition anywhere in the country.  Featuring rolling hills, wooded cover, and the well-known stone foundation ruins, the course has plenty of great viewing areas to see this thrilling sport as competitors gallop across vast acres in the heart of Chester County.

This event is fun for the whole family with something to see and do for everyone. The Kids Korner area, open all day Saturday and Sunday, offers the following FREE activities for children: moon bounce, carnival games, crafts, face painting, petting zoo, magic show and wonderful balloon animals to take home. The trade fair shopping area will have vendor shops of all sorts and a variety of food. On Sunday, starting at noon, don’t miss the parade of Hounds, the ever-popular celebrity bareback high jump exhibition, and the cutest Shetland ponies ever demonstrating their “racing” abilities!

A portion of the revenue from ticket sales will be donated to The Barn at Spring Brook Farm, a local nonprofit organization that provides free, animal-assisted therapeutic activities for children with disabilities.  Attendees can see these wonderful animals at the Kids Korner area on Saturday and Sunday. Plantation Field Equestrian Events also supports The Cheshire Land Preservation Fund, a local nonprofit group which sustains and promotes local land conservation.

Daily parking/grounds passes start at $20 per day and are available at the gate or online. Upgraded sponsor and VIP packages are also available.
