Last year, this pair placed second at the Fair Hill CCI*** (Md.) and ninth in the advanced at the Land Rover USEA American Eventing Championships (Ga.). This spring, they were seventh and sixth in advanced divisions at Pine Top Spring (Ga.) and Southern Pines II (N.C.).
Jimmy’s Prediction: This is a lovely horse with real potential. However, he does not yet produce the dressage score that he will achieve someday. Over the next year we can expect great things from this horse. This will be a great source of satisfaction to the U.S. selectors and will please his late owner, Mrs. Rebecca Broussard, who I am sure is watching.

Truluck: b. g., 16.1 hands, 13 years, U.S.-bred Thoroughbred (Maha Baba—Grayfully), owned by Ann Jones and Team Rebecca LLC.
In 2009, this pair was fourth at the Burghley CCI**** (England). Last year, they won the Jersey Fresh CIC*** (N.J.), were second at the Red Hills CIC*** (Fla.), and third at The Fork CIC*** (N.C.) and The Event At Rebecca Farm CIC*** (Mont.).
Jimmy’s Prediction: Truluck has been lightly campaigned by Phillip this year and has not quite recaptured his former polished performance. Having said that, Phillip is one of the few riders in the world who can produce winning form with a horse using little or no preparation. Phillip and “Milo” know how to play the game at the top level, and they will be ready when they get here. They will certainly finish well into the top 10 and should be in contention right down to the last show jump.
