Lexington, Ky.—April 25

The Cosequin Lexington CCI4*-S dressage concluded this morning with Will Coleman and Off The Record with a new record score for the competition, 21.8. Last year the 16-year-old Irish Sport Horse (Arkansas—Drumagoland Bay, ARD Ohio) finished third, adding just 0.8 cross-country time penalties to his dressage score.

Phillip Dutton, who was the overnight leader from Thursday, moved into second with his second ride, Possante, with a score of 23.1, a personal best for the pair. Dutton now sits third with Denim, his mount from Thursday, who scored 25.6.

A weather delay means that the day’s original schedule was altered. The five-star now starts at 1:15 p.m. Eastern instead of 1 p.m.
