Marilyn is the brightest new star in the U.S. eventing firmament. She has quickly established herself as a force to be reckoned with. Her dressage skills have improved enormously over the last 12 months. Because of her background as a show jumper, the final phase poses no challenge for her. The only question yet to be answered is her ability to ride well across country over huge obstacles for a long period of time. This will be her biggest cross-country course yet, and her longest. Her performance here will influence the U.S. selectors’ decision about a possible place for her on the team this summer at the London Olympic Games.
