This pair was leading the 2007 Rolex Kentucky CCI when Bachman went off course in the show jumping. After a break to recover from an injury, last year Gryffindor placed second in a division of advanced at Morven Park Fall (Va.) and was fifth in the Galway Downs CCI*** (Calif.). This spring, they were eighth at advanced at Pine Top Spring (Ga.) and fifth in advanced at Southern Pines II (N.C.).

Jimmy’s Prediction: Kristin is a wonderful horseman, and she has carefully brought Gryffindor back to peak condition. This pair has had a successful spring season and been a little better each time I have seen them. However, they have not yet regained their 2007 form.
