The Federazione Italiana Sport Equestre announced the Italian eventing team for the Olympics today.
Top rider Vittoria Panizzon, who was expected to lead the team, is out of consideration with Borrough Pennyz after the mare incurred an injury and Panizzon broke her collarbone in a fall from a novice horse.
The team will consist of:
Stefano Brecciaroli and Apollo van de Wendi Kurt Hoeve

Pietro Roman and Barraduff
Arianna Schivo and Quefira de l’Ormeau
The traveling alternate will be Giovanni Ugolotti on Oplitas.
