The country is located in central and upper Bucks County along the Delaware River. In central Bucks, where the kennels are located, the townships of Buckingham, Solebury and Warwick are hunted. In upper Bucks, the townships of Durham, Springfield, Tinicum and Nockamixon are hunted. Both are hill and dale countries mainly devoted to farming. Many of the ridges are deeply wooded for miles and rides have been cut through. Valleys are interlaced with streams and water jumps are frequently encountered. Jumps are post and rails and chicken coops in wire fencing. A stout three-quarter bred is preferred.
