Fifty Horses Ready To Start Rolex Kentucky

The first horse inspection of the Rolex Kentucky CCI**** started with 52 horses being presented to ground jury members David Lee of Ireland, Nicoli Fife of New Zealand and Marilyn Payne of the United States on April 22. Fifty of the horses were accepted, as high winds blew through the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.

Two horses were withdrawn after being held for re-inspection: Craig Thompson withdrew Orion, and Ashley Leith withdrew ESB Irish Doctrine.

The competition officially starts tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m., after a test ride from Bonnie Mosser and Merloch at 9:30.
