Equestrian Australia Announces World Games Eventing Team

National eventing selectors have announced the six horse-and-rider combinations to comprise Australia's Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (France) eventing team.

National eventing selectors have announced the six horse-and-rider combinations to comprise Australia’s Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (France) eventing team.

The six riders and their horses in alphabetical order are:

Chris Burton and TS Jamaimo (owners: TS Jamaimo Syndicate)

Sam Griffiths and Paulank Brockagh (owners: Mr and Mrs Posford, Jules Carter)

Sonja Johnson and Parkiarrup Illicit Liaison (owner: Nikki Harwood)

Bill Levett and Shannondale Titan (owners: Clare, Anne and Mike Prentice)

Shane Rose and CP Qualified (owner: Elizabeth Wischer)

Paul Tapner and Kilronan (owners: Fred and Penny Barker)

In accordance with the World Games selection policy for eventing, a decision on the four team combinations and two individual combinations will be made following the first horse inspection.

The policy also calls for the selection of three reserve combinations, and these will be advised by Eventing Australia on or before July 23. Team reserves will be selected from the remaining horse and rider combinations on the World Games nominated entries list:

Nat Blundell and Algebra (owners: John Glenn and Julia McLean)
