This spring, they placed 11th in the Red Hills CIC*** (Fla.) and third in a division of advanced at Southern Pines II (N.C.).

Jimmy’s Prediction: Allison and “Burger” have been successful over the past year, but they have not yet taken their performance to the four-star level yet. They will go well here, but Allison needs another year with this horse.

Arthur: ch. g., 17 hands, 12 years, U.S.-bred Irish Thoroughbred (Brandenburg’s Windstar—Like Quick), owned by rider and William and Carolyn Springer.

This pair was 13th at the 2008 Rolex Kentucky CCI**** and 14th there in 2009. Also in 2009, they were 22nd at the Blenheim CCI*** (England). Last year, they were fifth in the Red Hills CIC*** (Fla.), 25th at Rolex Kentucky and sixth at the Galway Downs CCI*** (Calif.). This spring, they won the Red Hills CIC*** (Fla.) and placed second in a division of advanced at Pine Top Spring (Ga.).

Jimmy’s Prediction: When I see this pair, they remind me of Charlie Brown, Lucy and the football. Allison and Arthur are Lucy and the football, and I’m Charlie Brown. But this year I am not going to play; this pair has jerked the football away from me every year here at Rolex. Allison is an exceptional rider, and Arthur is the most talented four-legged athlete in the field this year, but they have broken my heart too many times.
