There were 55 horses presented at the final horse inspection for the Rolex Kentucky CCI****, and 54 will go on to the show jumping phase this afternoon.

The top three horses after Saturday’s cross country phase, Michael Jung’s fischerRocana FST and Phillip Dutton’s Fernhill Fugitive and Mighty Nice, all sailed through the inspection.

Holly Payne Caravella’s Never Outfoxed was the only horse presented and not accepted by the ground jury; the pair was sitting in 19th place following cross-country.

Three horses were held and passed on re-inspection: Boyd Martin’s Shamwari 4, who is in fifth place going into show jumping; Canadian rider Kyle Carter’s Madison Park, sitting 33rd; and Liz Halliday Sharps HHS Cooley, who was also held in the first horse inspection before passing and is in 37th place before show jumping.

Lauren Kieffer’s Veronica was asked to jog again immediately after her first presentation and was accepted. Veronica holds the sixth position going into show jumping.

Katherine Coleman chose not to present Courage Under Fire at the final inspection. It was the pair’s first four-star appearance together, and they were in 55th place following cross-country.
