Gribaldi, the 17-year-old Trakehner stallion (Kostolany—Gondola II), will officially retire from competition at the 2010 KWPN Stallion Licensing in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, on Feb. 5, according to Eurodressage.
A successful Grand Prix horse ridden by Edward Gal, Gribaldi has not shown since the spring of 2007 when Gal withdrew him at the Dutch Dressage Championships because of behavioral issues.
