The death of Sarah Libbey Greenhalgh, a journalist who contributed regularly to the Chronicle and worked for the Winchester Star, was ruled a homicide after a medical examiner discovered a gunshot wound to her neck during the autopsy.
Greenhalgh, 48, was found dead [3] in her burning home near Upperville, Va., on July 9.
The sheriff’s department has not made any arrests or named any suspects, but, according to a report by the Washington Post [4], authorities have talked to people of interest and served several search warrants. They are still investigating forensic evidence found at Greenhalgh's home.
