First Time I've Seen This - One Handed Canter Pirouette
Isabelle Werth and Anthony FRH at the 2003 World Cup. Can't recall ever seeing this done in a freestyle competition. Anyone else seen it done by someone in a freestyle? Anyone ever tried doing it?

I've never seen it in a freestyle but I did it more often then two handed pirouettes with my old horse, who was a Lusitanos I trained from scratch.

I think Dover did it in that spotlight freestyle with the young black horse. Lord knows how many years ago that was.

I've seen it in freestyles and done it. As SCMSL, I do it all of the time, too. It's a pretty easy move to do one handed, unlike others, and is actually a good exercise to practice.
I noticed in the video he used a move from, whats her name who used to be the freestyle queen way back, from the Horse in Sport video, which is a walk pirouette straight into canter. That is a lot harder move.

I think Aktion's freestyle had I believe a walk into a canter pirouette and back to walk. I think. Let me go look.

Dover is such a show off. I would like to see more exhibition riding in this country: riders going for it without the pressure and consequences of competition.
