    Has anyone heard of these?

Yes, they get discussed all the time over in the Dressage and Eventing forums, but not often here in H/J. That isn't surprising since a lot of Neue Schule bits are made of salox alloy, which is very comparable to Herm Sprenger Aurigan. The search function will take you there, but the short version is nice bits, on the pricey side, hard to find in the US unless you order direct from Europe but Cheshire Horse in New Hampshire and All English Tack/Hastilow USA in Pennsylvania are good places to order from. I own two: a lozenge baucher and a waterford universal.

Try Hastilow, as the above poster mentioned. I bought a Tranz Beval from there years ago-- you can now find other brands with a similar concept called 'Wonder Bit'.

Be mindful when ordering... they're measured in centimeters, so they'll be slightly off from the US sizes.

Yep I ordered one from Europe when I couldn't find a running full cheek gag anywhere! Nice bit, and cheaper than Sprenger.

I have 3 or 4 of their bits and love them.

They are super popular in the UK, and much less pricey than the Sprengers etc.

Also Cotswold Sport make brilliant versions of bits too

I have a handful of NS bits here that I purchased several years back. 2 are barrel style snaffles with sweet iron mouths, 3 are the salox.
I love these bits and use them along with Mylers almost exclusively.
    I order from http://www.horsebitbank.com/
They also carry a nice selection of full cheeks, which are harder to find here for ponies since the Dees became trendy.
Proud to have two Gold Prince POAs!
