70 days test
I heard that 3 stallions were invited to jump the single high jump..forgot the height....think 1.5 plus meters. Anyway, anyone know who they are?? One is Contratto. I imagin one is Bon Balou but not sure...Any news is great. It so sucks that we cannot watch this year.

I'm not surprised - I've heard there are some pretty good jumpers there! I wonder if one of the other ones is Contratto. Hoping for a good testing for all the boys!

See my original post, one is Contratto. Do you know much about him or were you going on pedigree?

Oops, sorry! I meant to say Canterbury! Isn't he the one bred by the great Holsteiner breeder Uwe Bahlmann, and owned by our very own ne1?

Bon Balou and Bliss MF both did. I heard Dante did as well. Not sure about anyone else.

So is the consensus that it was Contratto, Bon Balou and Bliss?
The latter two are both Balou du Rouet / Argentinus.

I was there for the jumping days, and I'm back in Oklahoma now. I don't have my notes from the jumping days, but I really think more than 3 stallions did 1.50. In addition to the ones listed I know that Canterbury did the 1.50 on the first day, and then Dante did 1.50 on the second day. Not all of the stallions jumped the same heights both day; it was dependent upon the test rider. There could have been others, but the ones listed are the ones I remember off the top of my head. There are a lot of jumper stallions at this testing...

They did not jump the 4yo stallions 1.50m on either day.
Bliss MF, Bon Balou & Contratto jumped a 1.50m oxer.

Does get a bit confusing for those of us relying on 2nd hand info. Looking forward to the final results.
