Yeah. It makes me feel better about the people of this country that there aren't SO many whack jobs that they would elect these people.

At the beginning of the night, I actually would not have minded trading a Romney win for that. I absolutely wept with relief when they were both defeated!

Maybe this will finally get the GOP to take women seriously and not to write them off anymore. If Romney had come out and emphatically repudiated both these men he might have won.

As he said, women have ways of shutting that whole thing down. By not voting for your crazy selves.

I'm not a religious person...but hallelujah!! I applaud everyone in those districts who voted for common sense and equality, and not uninformed individuals who run their mouths and expose their archaic (and frightening) beliefs.

We taped Romney's speech for my daughter, she went to bed. She will be happy that he is such a good man, just the wrong message.

Thank all things that are good in this world and God Bless America. The GOP needs to reevaluate how to better reflect the people's wishes and values if they wish to be considered viable candidates. Tonight resoundingly, the people said No to this type of demeaning and dehumanizing tone in an elected official.

However A Grayson was elected in FL after losing in the last election. He is not who "we" want in congress.

I wonder how many elected officials hold similar views, but just haven't had their "sound bite moment" yet.

The results of this election show that there is a God. And that there are a lot of women who aren't going to take it any more.

I've always presumed that God is masculine, but now I might have to agree with those who say that SHE is a woman.

I used to live in St. Louis where the newspaper was the great, and liberal, Post-Dispatch. There are some great people in St Louis. Lots of catholic colleges and lots of people who moved there to work. I'm sure they all voted their conscience.

I think that the billions of dollars spent by both parties on candidates would have been better spent on repairing the infrastructure of our cities, thus creating jobs. And on buying food and giving health care to those who cannot afford those 2 necessities of life.

He's who I want in Congress. I'm so happy he was elected again.

This is the congressman who joined forces with Ron Paul for the Audit the Fed bill, and he was one of the key voices in congress who pressed for a real investigation of the foreclosure crisis. You might not like his outspoken style, but on the issues, few politicians can match his intelligence and clarity.

HOPEFULLY, just hopefully, we can move beyond holding ignorance and hate in high esteem.

    Such amazing hyprocisy.

The Dem women just LUV Bill Clinton....who cheated on his, wife, raped a woman (put some ice on that) and insulted females left and right by his behaviour...but that's OK compared to idiotic comments. Dem women LUVed Teddy Kennedy, who killed a girl and was involved in a lot of female sexual harassment...but that's OK.

People that say idiotic things but did nothing criminal are in no way comparable to people who actually physically harmed women and belong in jail.
