I need help for DH's gift, but would love to hear any other creative wrapping ideas you have!

Please do not turn this into a debate about guns, feel free to start a new thread for that if need be

DH is getting his concealed weapons permit, he has already taken the class and done the background check, all he has to do is take the paperwork down to the office and give them the money. Money's been tight, and he hasn't done the final steps yet. If he still hasn't done it by then, I'd like to give him the $$$ for it for Christmas. I really don't want to just stuff it in an envelope. I would love to wrap the cash in such a way that will be clear what it's intended for, but is cute and creative. Any thoughts?

Like I said, please feel free to share your other cash-wrapping ideas! I'm always looking for new crafty things to do for the holidays!

My great uncle once gave us one of those folding two-photo frames for wallet-sized photos. He stuck a $100 bill in each frame, folded so that Benjamin Franklin's face was framed.

What if you create a fake permit and frame it? The $ could be slid into the frame and you'd have an extra picture frame to use for something else.

Could you conceal it in a holster? -- wrap the holster as a gift, have the $$ tucked inside, with a cute note about what's "concealed" inside?

One year I gave a BIL a hundred dollars in one-dollar bills, all fluffed up, not stacked, and wrapped in a box. It was really fun when he opened it -- we all got a good laugh out of it and he loved it!

OMG!!!! Ijust got a catalog the other day in the mail that had the perfect solution. . . . it was a chocolate.... 1911 pistol. Came in a box that a hand gun would come in ... you could stash the cash in there. No mistaking what that was for. I don't know where I put the catalog right now, but will look for it.

Last year DH gave me one of those Onstar things you can add to your vehicle. Told him I rather return that and use the money to buy a new gun :-)

Some things I have done: folded and sandwiched the cash between two dollar store games, wrapped it around a dollar store item, and put it and decorative stones (flower pot type) in a box, stuffed it in a cheap mug, but the best reaction was when I carefully slit open a blister pack with a small, useful item and stuffed the cash in with the item.
