Who has an Android phone?
I just got a Samsung Galaxy and so far I am pretty happy with it but wanted to hear what everyone though of theirs.

Had a Galaxy. It was not a good experience.
It's battery life approximated that of a snowball in Atlanta on a July afternoon.
It had a terrible reception problem. My wife had a Droid and we could sit side-by-side in the car traveling and she would get three bars and usable 3g and I'd get nothing.
The speaker ring-tone volume was terrible. I missed multiple phone calls because I could not hear the ringer in places like Walmart, the local mall, a crowded room, etc.
After six months of Verizon not being able to fix it I swapped it for a Razr. I'm much more satisfied all 'round.

Went from iPhone3 to the new Razr M. Google Maps/navigation alone made it worth the switch!

I managed about 200 wireless lines in my last gig. We purchased exclusively android data phones, but never Samsung. Their hardware and software was terribly prone to failure.
HTC and Moto are far more durable.

Motorola Razr, it's a little bigger than I like once it's in an Otterbox but I like the reception (Verizon) and although it seems to eat batteries for breakfast, overall it's ok. If I still traveled a lot for work the battery issue would sucketh.

HTC Wildfire S.....HATE it. (Only marginally less than my BB - I would have kept that if it hadn't had broken buttons that made making phone calls impossible).

I have an HTC Incredible and the google maps/nav is awesome. I was in the car with an Iphone user and she ASKED to use my nav.
I have an app killer and I noticed a H U G E difference in my battery life once I started using that. Of course, you have to remember to use the app killer.
I had an LG last time, and while it was a smart phone that I kept dumb, I loved it.

I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII and I love it. It does eat up battery life pretty quickly but I got a battery defender app when I got the phone and that helps A LOT. it's a big phone, but it pretty much lives in my purse or on my desk and so i don't need for it to fit well in a pocket and be uber-portable. Instead, I appreciate the larger screen and I haven't had any problems with it (knock on wood).

I have an Atrix 2. I have a lot of problems with it. The newest one being that all my pictures, videos and music just randomly disappeared. I got a notification that my phone needed to be updated to newer software--so I did that... but right after I lost all of the things I mentioned. It came back a day later. But now every time I have to turn my phone off all of those things are gone again. This time they have been gone for almost 2 days. Not very cool...

NBChoice, all of those files should be stored on your microSD card, and you can back that up to your computer. My guess is that your phone is having trouble recognizing the card or it is not seated securely, which is causing the intermittent "disappearance" of those files. They're still there, but your phone isn't seeing them for some reason.
If the card is seated properly and you still can't access them, you can buy a microSD to regular SD adapter which will enable you to pop the card into almost any laptop so you can retrieve them, or you can pop the microSD card into a different phone and hook that phone up to your computer to get them.
I automatically have all my files on my phone back up to my drop box folder, which means that I will still have all that stuff even if I lose my phone completely. It's easy to set up--just sign up for dropbox on their website and then download the dropbox app from the play store.

Got a Razr M about a month ago to replace my Droid X. Really liking it so far! Battery life has been pretty good...it's gone 48 hours without a charge (although there seems to be something about the building where I work that seems to suck battery like crazy, even when wifi and mobile Web are turned off...)
