Does one have to have a paid www.vuze.com subscription to see Downton Abbey or something? I downloaded the app and made an account, but I found no DA fix awaiting me.

I uninstalled Vuze as it did weird things to my computer. Kept getting pop ups, etc.
I had installed Expat this summer but now it is giving me trouble when I want t reinstall it ie not installing drivers correctly. I think I will just be patient and wait until January!

I had all manner of weird stuff happen when I installed Expat to view the Olympics. I removed it a couple of days after I installed it.
I do not have cable or satellite or any other way to view TV, so I rely on internet means, the cheaper the better. I guess I might have to wait for DA season three to show up on Netflix.

My husband had to remind me that these are in fact characters, and plot devices.
I think it is beautifully shot, with interesting characters - and of course set in a time of great intensity and emotion.

now I am truly verklempft.
I'm with you, am loving the new Upstairs Downstairs. Did you know they are re-running the old series on vision station, wed nights at 10:00. Love the old series also.

How do I find the new episodes of DA, please?
I'll spell it out for those of you who are...err...less tech savvy.
Vuze is a torrent client. Install it. Go to your favorite torrent site. (Pirate Bay, for example.) Click "Get Torrent" after you search for whatever you want. Vuze will take care of the rest, and depending on your internet speed, you will soon have whatever you want to watch safely tucked away on your harddrive.
Vuze is not a viewing service like Netflix or something.
Well isn't this dandy?

I'm also loving Call the Midwife. It comes on just before Upstairs Downstairs (at least in my market).

Or the easy cheap ( read free) to see DA.go to
www.watchseries.eu
click on "series" on the blue section
scroll to Downton Abby
there are pop ups that you will have to do away with some are rather obnoxious.
This will bring up a page that will have lot of links. I found that either putlocker or grilrliavid( i think that is how is spelled) run the smothest.
putlocker way
click n the center "continue here to play" thingy
this will bring the page that says continue as free user click on free user.
this brings up the DA page. click on the page not to start yet but bo bring up the last pop kill it. then watch DA.
grilavid way
(will havean ad to start)
click on link
the on thecenter click tocontinue
click on bottom orange button after 5 sec
kill pop up
watch video

Me too texan! I loved the old U/D and have it on tape, but have been watching it again on vision.

I love Call the Midwife! -interesting to see the juxtaposition of 'worlds' , the very poor in the east end and then U/D and D/A.
Such great series.
I was quite weepy last week (the young woman with the triplets, and the wedding).
I just wish they wouldn't stream the credits so quickly. There is an actress who is playing one of the nursing sisters who I remember from long ago, but just can't catch her name.
