    Default I am a grandma.

Last night at 9:30 I became a grandma. I was hoping that it wouldn't happen for a few years yet, but when you marry a guy that has a kid 6 yrs older then yours it is bound to happen.

My SD and her DH had a lovely baby boy, 7 lbs 3 oz. He looks so cute in the photos I just wish we where closer to go and see him.

Congratulations!!! Grandbabies are AWESOME!!!! I have one that is 2 and I did not know I could love a child I didn't birth so much!!! There are days I just can't bear to leave him, and others that I seriously think about leaving work at lunch just to come home and play with him. Enjoy your grandbaby (no step-he is yours too!!) and you get to have a little person that you can love and be a buddy with and laugh with and giggle and spoil....and you can pony shop too!!! My little Fishbait loves to go with me to the barn and begs to watch horse videos and he loves to get pony rides...

I am so excited for you!!!

Congrats! My mom became a grandmother at 49... much too young in her opinion! But she loves her grandson!!!

Have fun!! Grandchildren are more fun than children (not that I would know... I've not had either).

A good horseman doesn't have to tell anyone...the horse already knows.

Might be a reason, never an excuse...

    Congratulations!!!!!!

Soon you too can have the moniker "Horsie Grandma" (in the case of one set of grands) or "Grandma Horse" ( in the other set of grands) !!!!

Grands are so much more fun. . . you have all the fun, spoil them rotten and then get to send them home!!!!!!!!!!!

Be warned, however, that you will have to buy ponies and tack and, well, you know...

Uh oh! We warmbloods did not know that your daughter was expecting a foal. We did not include a gift the colt. But we are happy for you.

We hope you will get some sleep.

Congratulations on being a grandma. Like you, they are really my step children's children, but I claim them

In our family, there are lots of grandparents, because everyone remarried, but we have the distinction of being the horsey grandparents, and the grandchildren really like the horses--tee hee
