    Default Fictional Characters for President

With all this talk of the election (ad nauseam) I thought it might be a fun distraction to discuss fictional characters who might make great (or terrible presidents). Characters from movies, tv, cartoons, books, etc... are all welcome!

Personally I'd vote for Dumbledore if he could get past the citizenship part.

I also thought Cal from Lie to Me would be an interesting choice...

And, of course, I think Winnie and Tigger would be great running mates!

I think all of those characters would have trouble meeting the citizenship requirement. I'm nominating The Virginian from Owen Wister's book of the same name. Not the tv show.

He would be a good one. Or maybe Jed Barlet from West Wing.

I'm always amused by the bumper stickers proclaiming "Cthulhu for President: why choose the lesser evil". Though I think I'd prefer Cthulhu remaining in the opposition, personally.

Another vote for Jed Bartlett, and I generally vote the other party. I guess that means I really want Aaron Sorkin for president.

Yes! 100%! I teach TKAM to my sophomores and it's my favorite book, hands down.

From what we've seen on this board, we warmbloods figure that you horse women would vote for the Black Stallion for president. Except he was muslim and was born in the middle east. Oh yeah, and he was black. We don't understand why people like black horses but discriminate against black people.

We'd probably have voted, if warmbloods could vote, for Flicka. Born in the USA, a mare, intelligent, etc. Or maybe Mr. Ed, as long as he didn't take those idiot people he was owned by with him when he moved into the White Horse.

How about a woman president? It's about time.

I think Miranda Bailey from Grey's Anatomy could get the job done. Or Captain Janeway, from Star Trek Voyager.

Miranda Bailey would be great too. If she can manage those kids as interns she can manage a country
