And really, how about giving them a bit of time to get the bugs worked out? A major upgrade like this doesn't happen just by flipping a switch.
Also, there is a Help forum. Lots of questions asked and answered there.
Chill, folks. In a few weeks you won't miss the old format.

It's very hard to read. The font is tiny, thin, and more of a dark gray than black. It's a strain to read it.
A helmet saved my life.

I hate it too.
BUT...
The red is going away as soon as they can. The thumbs up/down is a trial and may stay, go, or be altered. And there are still many more changes left.
I say lets give it a couple weeks before raising hell. That will give us some time to adjust to the changes, and the tech people some time to smooth out glitches. Then we can re-visit and give constructive feedback.
Don't forget... They're invested in this forum too! They only want it to be its best. We're all on the same team here.

I don't like that it seems that when someone edits or deletes a post, if others had quoted it, the quoted post also was altered.
That leaves the poster answering not making sense, if readers can't see what their post was responding to.
If you step in it with your post and are called on it, it seems a bit dishonest to then delete all and not own to your words.
Before, if quoted, you could not very well deny what you had written.
Now, if you can delete and all is gone, that makes it painless to say something less than nice debating, then go delete it so others later don't see what you wrote that is objectionable.

Oh, wow. Is that happening now? I hadn't even noticed.
Not good for the back peddlers, trolls and general story changers.

Life is change, folks. This is a free message board. If you are paying $20,(for the upgrade) then you can complain. Why are Americans such freaking whiners about silly crap? Put on your big-girl panties and suck it up!
I LOVE THE NEW BOARD! (Actually, I am just saying that to be contrary!)
