    Default Christmas Gifts

What gift items would you like to see for sale in a tack shop this holiday season? For kids, trainers, friends, riders.,..etc... We are looking for the ideal stocking stuffers and gifts. Please be specific. Thanks so much for your help.

Gift sized horse treats and nice tall socks always make great stocking stuffers. My favorite xmas gift last year were Under Armour tall socks... not a riding brand but they can't be beat.

Books and magazines. Our family has a tradition of rolling up and wrapping a magazine to put in each stocking.

Off the top of my head, here are some things that can make good stocking stuffers...

    Books/DVDs/magazines
Touch-up clippers (e.g.: Wahl Pocket Pro)
    Grooming tools/combs
    Treats
    Height and weight tape
    Hoof picks
Vet wrap and duct tape (especially fun colors and prints!)
    Warm gloves
Bit warmers (BITTENS are my favorite)
    Miracle Groom
    Jewelry
    Stickers
    Double-ended snaps
    Breyers
Framed pictures of their horse/them riding

All great ideas. My biggest recommendation would be to label the section "stocking stuffers". A non-horse person would never think to get a double ended snap as a stocking stuffer without a little guidance!

I second this... even an experienced horse person might not think of it! Also might make nice gift basket ideas... you could even place a nice gift basket next to your display with the suggestion!

Fancy ear nets/fly veils. The USG ones are inexpensive and lovely. I also like the EuroStar ones.

    ear nets
some sort of ear plugs/fluffies etc
    small, stocking sized treat packages
fun socks!! both tall boot socks AND warm socks
cute grooming totes/equestrian brand/related bags-can't even count the number of times that we've suggested using these for cute last minute gift bags for horsey people
I like mares. They remind me of myself: stubborn know it alls who only acknowledge you if you have food.
