Yes. And whatever drink you prefer is acceptable - wine, boxed wine, anything fermented really...or distilled...
And for those who do not drink alcohol, they can have water, tea, coffee, OJ, or anything they please.
If you "dislike" this post, please share your preferred source of liquid nourishment. I am truly curious.

This is really my favorite thread right now!!! At least it shows that some people have a great sense of humour!!!
And the longer this thread goes, the more I vote to keep thumbs up and down BUT to associate the usernames with them... I think even Facebook does that.

Don't you get a pop-up note when you have a new message? I do, or at least I did on the old format. Just checked, and my preferences are still set for pop-up notifications.

I posted on OT topics supporting gay marriage & asking for OT Day to end because the politics were driving me batty. I got nothing but thumbs up. I come here and post about puking emoticons and get tons of thumbs down. Does that mean people are more offended by vomit than gay marriage and the election? I give that a

I have the pop up turned off as it was crashing my iPad.
I'm sure I'll get a thumbs down for saying so.

Why is it not helpful when I express my opinion that I would prefer to know the names of the user who give Thumbs up or Thumbs down???
I really cant take people serious who are not able to stand behind their opinion...

I am going to read through all the posts after I write this, but I agree that the thumbs down should go.
I dont mind people disagreeing with me, but for instance, I posted on a thread that as a HUGE bay draft, and I wrote, "he is so cool" or something of that nature. AND I got a thumbs down??!?!
It makes me think twice before I post. It would be nice if when people thumbs down to give a reason why, but that will never happen.
Unless people are just clicking on the thumbs and they did not realize they hit the wrong thumb.

I know I'm more offended by vomit than either of those things. But I should probably specify that it's human vomit that really grosses me out, since I'm a pre-vet major and have cleaned up too much dog/cat puke to be grossed out by that anymore.

I would give you a thumbs up for this, but I don't want you to have to check your notifications But I totally agree with you, it takes the discussion out of the whole point of this being a discussion board.
