what a good looking guy! congrats!
I like mares. They remind me of myself: stubborn know it alls who only acknowledge you if you have food.

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update on Java! He has been the easiest horse to restart.
He got a little over a month to just be a horse, then on Thanksgiving I go on him for the first time, just walked around a bit. I put about 6 rides on him, then he was gelded on Jan 2.
Today was his third ride back after being off from the gelding. He is so laid back, non spooky, ice/snow falling off the roof and rain/wind, he's so calm and cool! No lunging before rides either.
He did his first ground poles at the trot today and for fun, I walked him over to the little flower box and he just walked right over it.
I'll keep everyone updated as long as you guys want to hear!

There's definitely a look of Zenyatta about him--must be that Medaglia D'Oro.
Congratulations, and have fun with him!

Thank you everyone! I am very excited about him
Thank you for all the nice compliments.
He has always been this laid back and quiet, even when he was still fully intact. He even is pretty quiet in turn out as well. His buddy is another 3yr old OTTB who likes to run and play, and he will just stand there and watch him ha ha

Not to be nit-picky or anything, but Medaglia D'oro is Rachel Alexandra's sire, not Zenyatta's. Zenyatta's sire is Street Cry.
Anyways, gorgeous boy!
