Not really a substance, but I think I have a COTH/internet problem.
when this site was down last night, I was at a loss with how to wind down when I got home.

Obviously not food related... But I have a serious nail polish addiction - over 89 bottles.

Coke Zero, McDonald's Caramel Iced Coffee and Diet Rockstar. No, I don't care if they are good for me.

Water, multiple tumblers a day. I can't stand to be trapped in my car or sitting at my desk at work without water.
And chap stick - MUST have the lip stuff.

Soda (it's been a very hard wean off of it because of the braces) and Monster, although I'm not allowed to have Monster so it's a very rare treat, but God it's SO good.

Milk - the 2 of us go through 2-3 gallons a week, and most of that is me.
Gotta have my coffee every morning.
Cigs. I've tried to quit so often, but it is my stress crutch and I can't seem to give them up quite yet.

Good advice. I may try that. I too am a Coca-Holic. Used to give it up every year for Lent--never made it through.
But I don't actually think it's just the caffeine with Coke. I think it's the caffeine and the sugar and whatever that secret ingredient that in the early days had people asking soda jerks for Coke in this way, "Give me a dope." After all, Dr Pepper also has caffeine but much as I like it I've never "needed" it, whereas that first sip of Coca-Cola every day always gives me the big deep "ahh" sigh of a smoker's first-morning drag.

caffeine pills and Diet Coke..... yes, I have a problem.. I don't drink coffee cause I hate the taste but I take a half a caffeine pill first thing every morn I need to get to work. Then by the end of the day, I've probably had about three diet cokes.
At horse shows, I buy the little mini diet coke cans and do them shotgun between classes. Then they don't sit around and get warm and it's not so much that I have to pee in the lineup.
...don't sh** where you eat...
