Default I need some enabling here

Probably not a lot, though. My newest kitten is almost 11 months old and vastly prefers my husband to me if husband is around and sitting down. Bubba is a lap cat. It's not FAIR!!! I got him for ME!! (pouts and stomps . . . .) So I told DH yesterday that I'm going to have to get another one. "NOOOOOO!" he wailed. But really. Shouldn't I?

did I hear my name being called?

    Kitties are like potato chips!

besides, two cats are more fun than a barrel full of monkeys!

Tell DH that as soon as he gives your cat back, you'll stop cat shopping.

You are suffering because an uncontrollable husband can't control his cat?

Honey, make your problem his problem and then wait.

OK, thanks guys. Problem is we currently have four cats. Four. One is very elderly and frail, two are middle aged, and then there's Bubba. And to thicken the plot - breeder that we got Bubba from has another one available. She's awesome. (The breeder, I mean.) Her kittens are the absolute best. I'm really torn.

Well, jeez, the answer is obvious! The elderly and middle-aged are too old to play with a kitten. You MUST have a kitten to play with a kitten! It's the law!
