    Maybe I'm showing my age, but no Olympic show jumper has looked better than these two in their "hunter" braids:

    You have already made the poit that you don't like "button" braids. You are entitled to your opinion. (I happen to find millions of "hunter braids" unattractive. Chacun a son goute.)

    But you claimed
    For your information, the USET jumper team horses competed for many years with what you are now calling "hunter" braids.
    and it appears your "information" is somewhatout of date.

    chief feeder and mucker for Music, Spy, Belle and Tiara. Someone else is now feeding and mucking for Chief and Brain (both foxhunting now).
