Someone posted a similar question a year ago and got no responses, so I thought I'd try again! My two boys have Rambo TOs in various weights and I LOVE them- they fit great, are tough enough to withstand my four year old's teeth, and stay in place through games of "We're both stupid geldings! Let's wrestle!" out in the field. I have an old-school TB- big-boned and bodied- and a fatty, over-sized Dutch WB. The Rambos fit them both great.
The Helix has the same closure and fit, so I'm thinking it might be a good bet for those cooler nights in the barn when the TOs are still too heavy. Anyone have experience with the Helix? Thanks!
You can take a line and say it isn't straight- but that won't change its shape. Jets to Brazil
Sorry I don't actually have one but I certainly am planning on getting one as soon as my guy stops growing like a weed. They look great and I've heard that they fit really well. I'd say go for it, plus it's a rambo so can you really go wrong?
Do you find that their sizing is different than Rambo turn-outs?
I have Amigo rain sheets for them (not anything else Rambo though I have tried on the Rambo fleece cooler before and it fit them in their respective sizes) and my old girl is a 78 in both sheets and my other is an 81 in both sheets.
Don't know if that helps at all but that's what I found in my travels.
