I would like to sign in under my elf name, but for some reason I can only get in once in every ten or so attempts. If it doesn't happen by then, I leave the room before I toss the computer or phone out the window or even worse, give up COTH.

I have requested new passwords multiple times and followed the instructions carefully.....sometimes they work, sometimes not. I have tried to contact a moderator, but haven't heard back. Maybe this has to do with the revisions, maybe not. I should be able to enjoy Secret Santa time on COTH, but admittedly am just frustrated at this point. I can't even rhyme.

So to my giftee, I wanted to let you know that just a little bit ago I officially purchased the first two items for your Christmas surprise package. I wish I could say who my giftee is, but I can't.

YAY! My elf is here! So excited!

As for anything we need, hmmmm. I just bought a dressage saddle from a friend (it did not fit her new horse, but fits mine perfectly). I am hoping we'll do a few baby level combined tests this coming year. Having never ridden dressage before (except one baby level combined test in 2011), I don't really have much. I probably need to get a dressage saddle pad, so I don't have to borrow my trainer's all the time!

I am a big James Bond fan (on the brain lately with the release of the new movie). I read all of Ian Flemming's books when I was a kid, but I've lost track of my old copies over the years. I'd like to start getting copies of them so I can read them again now, as an adult. I've just been too swamped to order a copy of Casino Royale. And I like other spy type books, like Daniel Silva and Robert Ludlum. I also like legal type fiction like John Grisham and Scott Turrow.

I have a 4 month old Weimaraner puppy (named Vesper), and she takes up most of my spare time these days!

Love to travel, and food and wine, and antique shopping!
