Default Thank you Moderators for these OT days.

Thank you Moderators for keeping OT open for a while, so even those that didn't get to read and participate over the holidays are having a chance to do so now.

    Much appreciated.

I second that thank you! I got some great information about a health problem that was much needed.

Yes, thanks to the Mods for some Off Topic time! It's always a pleasure though I'm not sure anything has been as funny since the chicken was locked in the oven.

Another Thank You and fervent wish OT could become a permanent feature .

Sometimes true OT subjects truly need horseperson input & really don't fit on the existing forums.
    At least in MHO

& besides I've gotten some awesome recipes from OT days : 9

Yes, thanks. It's nice to see the more 'human' side of posters here, not just threads about our horses...even when we have differing opinions

Yep, thanks! And, I second the wish for it to be a permanent feature...I don't think it would get quite as crazy as it does on some threads if people didn't feel such a rush to get all their thoughts out before it closes down .

Out of the numerous boards I've belonged to over the years, nothing has EVER topped the chicken in the oven!

Is the original thread about the chicken in the oven still around? My CoTH searching skills are abysmal and I would LOVE to read it!

I would LOVE permanent OT days. I love getting to know fellow COTH'ers in a non horsey-way as well!

I wonder if we would have as much drama with a permanent OT forum as we do with the occasional one.

My guess is that the Moderators are already discussing this.

While I think the Chicken in the Oven thread is a classic that is hard to beat, the Farting story is about the winner for laughs.

Flip a coin. It's not what side lands that matters, but what side you were hoping for when the coin was still in the air.

This thread so reminds of a PBS Beg-a-Thon.
