I don't need another pad either BUT, how bad would it be to show in the hunters in one of the cream colored ones? Thoughts?
If your horse has super sensitive skin and you need to use sheepskin, go for it... otherwise, I think they always end up looking too bulky. The fact that it is only half-lined may help with this but in general I don't love the look. Distracting.
Re: Any Hermes saddle. Not that I'm saying you should buy one in awful condition but, you can send any Hermes saddle back to Paris where Hermes will repair the saddle for of course $$$.
Each saddle # is recorded in a book, along with the date made, and the names of those who made that saddle. (And now on line, you can trace your saddle back to the year it was made. Well, I got a nice guy at a saddle shop to find out when mine were made.) I've never had to have mine repaired. But they will add blocks, etc., for $$$.
So maybe a cheap Hermes, with a good tree, is worth the repair cost.
