Default Cairo Prince runs away with Holy Bull Stakes

And what's nice is that his damsire is Holy Bull, which is where he gets his gray.

    Interesting pedigree:

Looks like classic distance to me.

Very professional performance for his age.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJNHYcw1Vek

But I stopped getting enthused by Jan/Feb/Mar Derby preps a long time ago. Too many false dawns.
Hell, I barely get excited about the Derby winner itself anymore, as most of them won't last into the summer (injured/retired/or plain never run to form again).

The TC point qualification system really put the nail in the coffin of me caring about the early 3 y/o prep races.

Cairo Prince is out of a nice mare, though...

Pioneer of the Nile, wow. Nice race, I'll put him in my fantasy stable and see how it plays out. Thanks for the race link!

This was his fourth race. Started 3 at 2, won 2 and was second to Honor Code in the Remsen. Here's hoping he keeps doing as well later in the season/spring.
