Odd Message at Top of Screen
Okay, I just clicked on my bookmark link for COTH and I have the following message in a pink box on my screen:
Sorry, you can only use your validation link once for security reasons.
Otherwise, everything seems to working okay, but this message will not go away. Sorry to give you another bug to work on.

Me too.
I've also had the Sign in, Register, Search, Careers links etc underneath each other against the left of the ... blue/white bit of the COTH forums for a couple of days. Search box stretches the entire width of the COTH banner. Small pic of the COTH magazine partially covering the error message. All look out of place.

I am glad to know it's not just me. I've been getting some of the other things Kalidascope mentions, too.

Thanks for this thread. I would have thought it was my computer!

I had this (just figured it was something with my NoScript) for a while, then today it fixed itself, shortly thereafter I cleared my cache and immediately after that I got the validation message thing. Browsing/searching etc working as intended though.
Michael: Seems the people who burned me want me for a job.
Sam: A job? Does it pay?
Michael: Nah, it's more of a "we'll kill you if you don't do it" type of thing.
Sam: Oh. I've never liked those.

I thought the problem with the menu bar items shifting to the left of the screen may have resolved itself, as I was seeing it yesterday and then not, but apparently not. I'm also seeing the "validation link" message at the top of the screen, so we'll bring in the tech crew to see what's brewing.
Thanks so much!

I posted on the other thread but I'm getting the same message - but only when using Safari, not Chrome.

I see the validation link message as well. I've also had some HTML issues, although they seem to be fixed at the moment.
I'm using Safari...haven't tried on another server.

Please feel free to report in with what browser/version you're using if you're experiencing this issue. I'm on Safari as well, as are a couple of the other users on this thread. That type of info can be helpful for the tech folks as they research the issue.
Thanks again!

I'm getting it on IE7 and on Chrome. Tried logging out and logging back in on both and refresh but no dice.
