    Default metal barn roofs

I am wanting to put a dk green metal roof on the new barn, not planning to insulate. Long side of barn is adjusted to have solid side facing the winter north wind. The builder thinks I should do silver/metal look instead because it will absorb less heat. What you you guys think?
I can explain it TO you,but I can't understand it FOR you

Get the color you want or you won't be happy. And insulate. Not insulating my barn roof is really the only regret I have about building my barn.

I see "Golden State"....Central Valley or Coastal, and how far north or south?

If you're in 29 Palms, he's got a great argument; if you're in Eureka, I'd get what you want

I have insulated, energy star certified brown metal roofs on my barns with no problem. I also have a ridgeline vent
