Default Jersey Fresh fashion thoughts and questions

    Random thoughts:
    1) Unless you are Sharon White, riding for the Netherlands has the disadvantage that their "pink" coats are orange
    2) Karen looked great again
    3) Apparently having a really well turned-out grey horse helps you win the best turned out award (Jeff Kibbie 2* and Michael Pollard 3*)
    4) The american flag patch on Boyd Martin's boots is really cool. The helmet stripe seems a bit over the top
    5) Loved the colored silk linings in many SJ coats. Holly Payne was wearing a lovely very dark with a touch of teal blue coat with a deep pink lining that was gorgeous. Shandiss Wewiora had interesting lemon yellow collar on hers
    6) Hot pink is OK on the palomino pony, even if the rider is an adult
    7) IMHO, almost everyone looks better in a nice helmet than in a top hat
    8) Connemaras rock (wait, that's not a fashion comment, but their tails were stunning)

    And 2 questions:

    1) what is up with the brand names/sponsor logos on the breeches legs? From any distance, they look like a smear of dirt and I did wonder if riders got those breeches free or if they were just randomly providing advertising
    2) Is the bright silver metallic boot tape (ala Hawley Bennett-Awad) just bling, or is it someone different/better/higher tech than plain old duct tape or electrical tape?

Grey ponies rule That's all I have to say about that
If it were easy, everybody would do it.

Usually I find pink intollerable, but I think its great on that palomino pony!

And with you 100% on helmets. I think they LOOK better, not to mention they are 1000% better for your head.

Oh no. Grey ponies definitely rule.
I thought that duct tape was plain duct tape -- it was bling? Hmmm.

The duct tape was probably the "chrome" shade available at Walmart.
