As a local trainer, ex-jockey, and Keeneland regular, I am leading a tour filled with several COTHers (7 so far I think, but I'm losing count!) around the track and the backside Friday morning. Go to bed early because we will be touring from 6am-8am including a little breakfast stop ($10 cash should get you twice as much as you can eat) at the Track Kitchen and then we will be jetting to Rolex for the first dressage ride of the day. I thought that I might extend an invitation to anyone else who would like to join us, the more the merrier! RelocatedTXjumper, Bizbachfan, and GutsNGlory are all already on board with their respective accomplices. My accomplice for the morning will be Ralph Hill as well, so if you would like to meet him and interrogate him about the secrets of **** riding, that is an added bonus! He's super personable and apparently has never toured Keeneland. Who knew. Our numbers have multiplied to 30-40! I've honestly lost count! We are meeting at the WEST GATE OF THE GRANDSTAND which located straight ahead if you enter the main gate of Keeneland at the corner of Man O War and Versailles Rd and proceed straight to the parking lot closest to the grandstand. We plan to meet at 6am. With so many people, I will try to wait atleast 10 min for stragglers and call me (615 number at top of www.landnequine.com) if you are really late and I will direct you to wherever we are at that time. The tour is free but tips are of course appreciated ;-)! Come hungry and ask all the questions you can think of! See you ALL there!
