Anyone out there play mounted games?!?
So I played mounted games about 10 years ago (I'm 25 now) through Pony Club and United States Mounted Games Association...
Are there any adults out there playing? It was so fun back then, I'm wondering if I should try to get back into it...
...Anyone...?

Not through any official organization, but we have fun shows at the barn sometimes where we all play mounted games (adults and kids alike!)

In our area (suburban MD/Va) lots of adults play games. I believe MGAA is the sponsoring organization.

I do medieval reenacting with the Society for Creative Anachronism, and the equestrian groups do mounted games--just more combat-oriented (spear throwing, knocking heads off poles, etc.). My horse loves it. (:

My daughter did PPG until she aged out and then joined MGA in Canada - fabulous times and fun way to be very physically active. She travelled to France, Kentucky, Oz and all over Canada includihng the Royal.

My daughter doesn't do Pony Club, but she's in 4H. She's always shown only Hunt Seat (all 2 classes, both flat...) but this year she's thinking about doing some Western too, including games (barrel racing, pole bending etc) just for fun. She recently told me she was thinking about doing the games in her English saddle--just to show that it can be done. I think that would be a hoot!
