Default Hunter "Sneak Preview" from the 80's/90's?

Does anyone have any info on the successful thoroughbred hunter mare Sneak Preview from the 80's or 90's? She's the mother of one of my broodmares so I'm looking for pics, video, show history, show history of her foals, etc. I believe she was owned by the Johnstone family and shown in the small juniors. I know she was dam to at least three foals, including Peter Pletcher's famous hunter January's Best by Best of Luck, a mare named Best Preview by Best of Luck, and my mare Ovation by Aristos B. Any help would be appreciated!

Was she a chestnut and champion at Madison Square Garden in 85 or 86? If so, I recall she sold for 250K in 86 to someone I know.

I remember her being a small, fairly plain chestnut, maybe a small star. I can recall Ellen Van Dyke showing her very successfully in the A/O hunters before Megan Johnstone got her for a Junior hunter.

While we're here, whatever happened to January's Best?

I think January's Best is retired at Peter Pletcher's farm.

Can't help on the mare, but my beautiful 18 y.o. Thoroughbred gelding's name is also Sneak Preview (registered as My Sneak Preview).

Not sure what info you are looking for, but I believe she was with Christina Schlusemeyer early in her career and that Margie Goldstein showed her as a green horse. She showed mostly in FL at the time.

I think that is right. I believe Patty Davis Raynes owned her for a while.

I don't recall Megan having the ride on that one, but I could be mistaken.

I think she was Second Year Green working hunter champ at Madison Square Garden but I will have to look (I have old programs). She was winning everything at the time.
