Nice cover for foxhunting!
http://www.whatsupmag.com/community/...the-hunt.html#
Our just past huntsman, Jane, was actually on the cover of the issue, the magazine is called Whats Up Eastern Shore.
The photos were from a hunt at Luthy Farm near Cambridge, Maryland, last spring -- this is near the wildlife refuge south east of the town. It was really wet that day and soft but the hounds were fabulous and ran a fox right to us as we stood, in a corner of the field.
Just thought I'd share!

What a wonderful article, and I love the photos. My favorite one is the little kid laying on the back of the pony.
Thanks for sharing that.

What a nice story!
I think that the reporter was unusually diligent in research because the details and the feeling are correct. Is the reporter a foxhunter?
I love the tired kid on the pony. How many times have I wanted to do that! Very good pony! Pat, Pat!

Whicker, I have to agree that the reporter gave the feel of hunting to the article!! Anyone know if the reporter has hunted before?
Loved the photos, especially the one of the hunt going down the tree lined lane.

Thanks for sharing this! I hunted with Wicomico back in the early 70's when the hounds lived at Ham's farm in Salisbury. I hacked to all the meets, ah those were the days....last time I was out that way (2002) all the old fixtures were housing developments....made me very sad...
